What's different in banking
SEAR applies in full to credit institutions, excluding credit unions, and since 1 July 2025 to their NEDs, INEDs and chairpersons. Incoming third-country branches are in scope too. Banking hires are usually replacements, so the counter-offer is a real risk. A search should always produce more than one strong finalist.
