About Nexus Search
Nexus Search is an Irish executive search firm for Central Bank regulated firms. It focuses on the appointments that face the most scrutiny: PCF, C-suite and board.
Every search is run by its founder, Paul Smyth, from the first conversation to the start date. Firms deal with the person doing the work, not a team behind them.
Paul Smyth
Paul has worked in Irish financial services talent since 2007, on both the search side and in-house. At State Street, he led recruitment across most of Europe. Nexus Search builds on Top Tier Recruitment, the firm he founded in 2016.
He has worked on appointments across payments, digital assets, insurance, funds, wealth management and banking, in Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, the UK and the US.
He trained as an executive coach in 2019 and holds the ICF's Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. He has also been Coach in Residence with the Techstars Web3 accelerator.
